Vs. Sacramento State

I didn’t make it out to the game but followed it on Pluto TV, which freezes up a lot. The Wildcats seemed to step up their game but fell back to their old ways by letting a 21-point lead shrink to five.

A very fortunate three-point bank shot ended any potential drama, but Weber State has to learn to close out games. They seem to do better on the road. This upcoming week will indicate to me if they are progressing or not, particularly the SUU game. They need to bring the energy to both games.

But again, the neutral site Tournament and fact every team makes the Tournament kind of makes these games meaningless in a sense.

If you're watching from a PC, don't use the "Watch us on PlutoTV" option; it's total crap. Use the "Watch | Watch Big Sky" option; it's very good, comparatively.

"neutral site + every team makes the Tournament = meaningless games in a sense." Not in a sense; period!

Thanks for the tip. I will try that next time. I thought that in some sense the games mean something because the NCAA Committee might reward a higher win total team if they win the championship, but honestly, the Big Sky is penciled in at 15 seed...maybe a 14th at best lately, so you are right, they are meaningless.

This year could be the year a real bad record team could win the conference as only three have above .500 records and could easily be beaten by any of the lower teams in any round.
