Well, it’s clear the Wildcats are not as good as I thought. Second game vs a talented team and getting beaten badly. Glad I didn’t make it to this game.

Rebounding and defense hasn’t been there.

I think the Wildcats are also in for hard games in the Big Sky. They might be more 3rd or 4th with the weaknesses they have.

I'm sorry but I just cant buy into your doom and gloom pessimism on the basketball team or the football team. This team is incredibly talented and played another very talented team last night who couldn't miss. From what I have seen they will be in the top 2 in the Big Sky this season assuming they can avoid the injury bug.

I guess if we just schedule more Maine Fort Kent games we could be National Champions!

Just saw that Rahe benched Carlson for not playing well. I wish he held himself and his coaching staff to the same standard. Way too much talent on this team to get run out the gym like this. The culprit tonight was rhythm…… that’s a new one!

i think the game was more about the talent of usu. they were just good. looking at the box it shows we played well w/ the exception of rebounds which we expected. we shot 45%, less than 10 turnovers, our best played well though we don't know why porter had 6 mins. its just impossible to beat anyone shooting 15-30 from 3. even if you say better D, some were from 30 ft. a guy came off their bench and scored 27 hitting 7 3's and his season ave was 6ppg.

Yeah, that kid for USU off the bench was shooting like Steph. I am grateful for the beatdown, oddly enough. I would rather take a beating than watch us play naia teams. USU was good, not great. We should compete with these guys.

Guys, when the USU 3 point shooting cooled off in the second half from 67% in the first to 33% in the second half, the teams played a pretty even game. Rahe could have adjusted the 'D' better to stop the insane shooting from 3. But, as usual, he is not so good at adjusting the game plan during the game. I certainly do not think that USU is 15-20 points better than we are. Lets see if it is a better game against BYU and Fresno State before we decide how good, or bad, this team is.
