WAC to Lose $3 million in TV Revenue Next Season

Apparently after Boise State leaves the WAC, ESPN will only give the WAC +/- $1 million to split amongst it's members. After Nevada and Fresno leave, the WAC will be lucky to receive that much.

I hope UTSA andTexas State werent planning on getting any money through TV revenues

Link doesn’t work but if this is true, the WAC just lost any leverage it had in enticing new members. At lest the stage is set for La Tech to dominate that conference starting in 2012. (Assuming they stick around.)

This link should work.

Wow those other conference TV deals blow the WAC’s completely out of the water. I’m curious to know how the other irrelevant FBS conferences’ (Sun Belt) TV deal compares with the WAC’s.

The Big West has a TV deal worth 100k which is sure to go up with the addition of Hawaii. I’m also curious to know how the Big Sky TV package compares to that. :?:
