Gameday preview: Portland State at Weber State
by Jim Beseda, The Oregonian

Saturday February 14, 2009, 8:00 AM

Portland State at Weber State
When: 6 tonight
Where: Dee Events Center (12,000), Ogden, Utah
Records: Portland State (17-8, 8-4 Big Sky Conference), Weber State (16-8, 10-1)
On the air: Radio on KPDQ (800)

The lowdown: The defending Big Sky-champions Vikings, coming off Thursday's 79-69 loss at Idaho State, have dropped their past three road games and fallen into third place with five conference games remaining. ... The Vikings have had this game marked on their calendars ever since the Wildcats stunned them 80-66 at the Stott Center on Jan. 8, snapping PSU's 16-game conference win streak. After the game, junior guard Dominic Waters guaranteed a Vikings' victory in the rematch. "Like I told them, 'Be ready when we get up there,'" Waters said at the time. "And we will win when we go up there. We're going to be ready to play." ... The Wildcats clinched a spot in the conference tournament with Thursday's 74-57 victory over visiting Eastern Washington and pushed their winning streak to seven games.

You have got to be kidding me. The guy already has made himself look idiotic by guaranteeing no more losses this season. (They've only had three since then). Now he is still claiming that Portland St will definitely win in Ogden. He needs to stark thinking before he talks.
