Interesting story on this young lady: she lost a season and a half with major knee reconstruction. She fought back to play her senior season. Looks like a very strong athlete, also a weight thrower in track. Her dad is defensive line coach at Sac State.

If this signing is for 2015 (and we signed a point guard) who is leaving the team? I thought that the scholarships all had been awarded about 6 months ago.

The official announcement:

The Idaho State women's basketball program has announced the signing of Sai Tapasa from Central High School in Monmouth, Oregon. Tapasa is a 6'2 forward who averaged eight points and eight rebounds a game as a senior. She also averaged two steals a game and shot 76 percent from the free throw line and 54 percent from the field.

It appears Sherise Porchia will transfer to D-2 Chico State...
