So this is hilarious! I have been doing a little digging on posters on the forums IP addresses and have found that Midmajor??, Mycats, Cats Meow! and youngguns are all posting from the same IP addresses. All of the IP addresses are registered in the Littleton/Denver CO area even the cell phone posts.

What is crazy is that he logged out and in under a different user 3 times in this thread to reply to himself. All of his replies came from the same IP address and were minutes apart. http://www.bigskyfans.com/wildcats/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5012" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Who are you really? Are you even a Weber fan?

I will no longer respect or care about a single thing you post.

I think everyone should have one account. How do the other users feel that these accounts should be handled? Should they be banned?
 
I really don't care if a person or household wants to have multiple accounts to argue with themselves or make what ever points they want. It really shouldn't be shocking to anybody. I don't look at this as being trolling or anything devious. Just take it for what it is worth. If it is one person, two, or more, I really don't care. They seem to be interested in Weber State Basketball and that is what I care about. I'm sure that they are close to one particular player on our team, and I am OK with that as well. Personally, I welcome him/her/them, and hope to see more posts. :thumb: :thumb:

This person has personally attacked certain members of the forum in the last week.

Maybe you don't care because you post under multiple user names from time to time.
 
Personally, I think it's a joke especially when you attack players, coaches, administrators, or a policy. If you have an opinion that's fine but to keep pushing your point with multiple accounts pretending that a lot of people agree with you is shameful. It takes away from the balance of the forum. I'm all for someone sharing their opinion and participating and welcome anyone and everyone to join our forum. I love the various opinions and posts. This is where you find the most dedicated fans of Weber State Sports and I love this community and the loyalty we as fans show to our community and school.
 
Was one of those alter egos calling for someone's head or suggesting that they should be replaced?

I do remember one or more of them questioning the coaches red shirting choices. Many of us had those same questions, but most of us could see the advantages for the players and the program in general. Looking back at it now, I don't think that playing either of them would have changed the outcome of this past season by much. I have to score one for the coach here.

If the person behind some of these posts is a school friend of one of our players, I can see their bias. While we may see things through purple lenses, they may be seeing things as a fan of that player. If it is a family member, then I think that they are somewhat out of line and should refrain from any sort of interference in that players career. We have all been quite critical of Ian Fox's dad for making a mess of his life and college career. I hope that we don't have something like that going on here. If we do, I hope it stops. The player in question is a great kid and deserves the right to fly on his own and become the man that I think he will.

I hope that this discussion will help the person behind these alter egos make better choices about how the express their feelings. :nod: :nod:
 
He hasn't logged in under any accounts since he read this. I am sure he has a lot more time to do his day job. It was a lot of time and work to keep up with 4 alter egos. He seemed so invested in the program. With being so closely connected to a current player, I am not sure what his motives were or what he was trying to accomplish.

I know you got busted trolling us. But your boy is about to make his first division 1 start today against the aggies. He plays a huge role in our success this year. I think it would be great if you contributed to the forum again. Maybe with a few less of your personalities.

But agreed...might as well, make some comments. Until you started ganging up on people with your six personalities, I didn't mind what you had to say.
