Does that seem a little excessive to anyone else? Discuss.

History has shown it does not necessarily matter the position title a player is labeled with, players have been repositioned regularly. Good athletes and good attitudes will find playing time on an Eagles team.

Except the traditional role for DBs to transition to is WR. And that position is already well stocked for years to come.

When you add in special teams, I don't think so. Including subs, and injury's 12 to15 will see the field during the season.
I like this roster, the team is young except for OL.

In past years we have had upwards of 5-6 DBs out for extended periods. With is playing more of a nickle as a base package, extras are a good thing

I think the current types of offenses in the BSC require teams to carry a lot of fast, athletic defenders that can cover and tackle in space. The main thing I noticed from this spring’s scrimmages was the amount of speed by the DBs and LBs. This defense has some outstanding athletes. It is going to be interesting how the new DC’s strategy unfolds throughout the season.

I noticed Evan Day was not on the May 27th roster. Any info on Evan Day’s bid for another year?. Having Day and Ebukam as bookend speed rushers would create nightmares for offenses.

I can think of one DB that transitioned RB.
