Props to UM. (damn that hurts to say that). Way too spooky to see us play this poorly. I only wish that the Grizz beat our best effort....but alas, they did not. They got arguably our worst effort of the year.
I STILL bleed purple...no matter what. We can still get an at large bid into the playoffs IF we destroy our last two aponents AND UM beats MSU.(which I am sure you're capable of...right Grizz?)

I gots me some news for u Born2Bleed we have beat your best that Weber had to offer 2 games in a row and beat you down like the punks you are! You guys are total wanna be's and just can't ever seem to get there. Well we are the class of this conference and have been so, for damn near 2 decades. So you guys just sit in the corner and be the good lil punks that you have been for 20 years and know your role of being owned by the Griz! Once you come to terms with this, the happier you will be every fall. PUNKS!!!

First, as a Montana fan, I want to apologize for Richard Cranium and his ilk. I think he probably had too much to drink.

Second, I think it must've been a tough stadium to throw in today. Neither Higgins nor our quarterbacks could get anything going through the air. On the ground, Chase Reynolds really found his groove. I understand Smith had an ankle injury. With no air attack and with Smith hamstrung, it was a tough afternoon for you. For those of you who made the trip up, I hope you enjoyed Missoula.

UM fans were way cool & nice at the game; oddly it was nothing like that last year. Good luck the rest of the season Griz. Hopefully we'll take care of our last 2 games.
 
I haven't been that amped up for a game in a long time. The Griz were ready to play and the D played its best game of the year. I met some pretty cool Weber fans at the game too. So, props to you guys who made the trip up. I hope you guys had a good experience with other UM fans. Weber's backs are pretty much at the wall now. You guys win out and probably get in the playoffs (likely a road game), but stumble once and there's no chance they'll put a 5-loss team in. I'd like to see you guys get in because I think you guys can play with the eastern FCS teams better than anyone else in the Big Sky. Good luck.
 
Good game for a Griz fan in Our Stadium! :D I do feel that McBride's 1st big mistake was keeping T. Smith in most of the game, when it was evident to anyone watching that he was at best 50% and couldn't cut at all. His ankle really seemed to have slowed him down. I was very pleased and surprised that Bolen did NOT get many carries. I think McBride is the only coach in the conference more arrogant and stubborn than Hauck! :o If Bolan had carried the rock from the start the outcome could have been very different! :shock:

I think Weber has played worse in a game this year, I saw the game against MSU and the wildcats couldn't stop pissing down their own leg. It should have been Weber 35-7 at half time?

I feel for your players and fans, but I still think your coach is classless!
 
Weber's play calling was AWFUL yesterday. I'm going to say it and I don't care, HAMMER has been favoring SMITH all freakin year, and it got us beat yesterday. I totally agree with kitty, Bolen should have had more carries, also, where is our offense? What the hell were we running yesterday? 80% of our offensive players were recruited, have been practicing, and are talented running the spread, and here Weber is running a POWER offense???

On a side note, I talked to a former Weber coach before the season and he said that for Weber to be successful their OL needed to stay healthy, well, our OL is pretty banged up, and it showed yesterday. Running a true spread instead of trying to push the rock with power would have been a far better idea and would have put less pressure on our OL.

I agree, play calling sucked...Smith should be sitting down and facing reality. Bolen is a true baller, showed up and did his job last week, this week he gets the shaft. OL is what it is....gotta adjust.

241 yds for Reynolds on the ground with only 48 yds in the 1st half; good adjustment by UM coaches.

The non-calls were brutal, really, UM is good enough that they don't have to cheat....why lessen the integrity of the game.

It will sure help our chances if you take care of NAU for us, and if we are unable to take care of business I would rather see you in the playoffs than EWU
 
Agreed about the OL...There are going to be injuries and you just do your best with what you have. I do have a serious problem with the play calling though. Its completely different from last year, absolutely no imagination. I think whoever is calling plays needs to be replaced. Also, and it pains me to say it, Cam was terrible yesterday. It almost seemed like the team had been out partying friday night and that they weren't ready to go. You could tell which players wanted that game, and it wasn't the guys in Purple. I'm sure that there are a lot of guys who are absolutely frustrated and angry, and did everything they could, but you need all 11 on the field doing the same thing. Weber wasn't all there, Montana was. Weber made Montana's defense look great by how badly they played. The UM defense is not good, but when you can predict every single play, amazingly, you'll look great.

I'm not going to lean on the Ref excuse, even though there were a lot of missed calls, a few on the both sides, but thats the game of football.

Another thing, the defensive front needs to get tougher. They are SOFT and it showed yesterday. Linehan and the Beast can only do so much. After the beast went out, the front virtually did nothing and allowed UM to run all over the field. My game ball goes to Sedillo and Hadley they kept doing everything they could to keep their team in the game, but it wasn't enough. The guys I feel the worst for are the seniors, especially Toone, you could tell how much he wanted that game, it just wasn't to be.

Its really funny, Montana fans don't really understand that the only seniors on this team that will be lost that can't instantly be replaced are Toone, Hadley, and Linehan... All the rest, definitely will be missed, and have done a great job, but are replaceable. The best thing about Mac is that he can recruit! Weber's best players are their up and comers, lets just hope we get some good, young, imaginative coaches to help them develop. I for one want to go back to our spread offense and stop being so damn conservative. Open it UP!
 
first- sorry for the grizzers that were you know whats to start this thread. second- yes we won pretty well...but it could have been a better game if smith was not in the whole game. LOL i thank everyone for coming and i hope you all had a safe and fun time. take care of biz. these next two games! it was fun and hope you enjoyed it.

thanks, there are always a few idiots in every tribe.....you have your fair share. the only really shocking thing was i watched a female, not a lady......who was 45 - 50 years young, turn around and yell very clearly to a student in the WSU parent's section...F--- You.....mind that, an older female scowling with venom saying that. was she provoked? no were we being rude? no was the lady drunk? maybe

that was pretty classless, but she continued to shout vulgarities, and that is fine, but with children under the age of 12 sitting within earshot? not a good choice, but she is probably a long time Grizz fan...

Yeah, interesting that hear some of you Weber guys rooting for UM over us after they come on your board and talk crap to you, your coaches and your players. Whatever. Good luck the rest of the season, Wildcats.
 
To all the Bobcat Fans on the board: I will cheer for your team any day of the week that you are not playing the Wildcats. You have more class, more friendly, and in my opinion, just better people who cheer for your school. Too many people on this board are just looking out for their own selfish interests. Please know that many of us still want you to BEAT THE GRIZZ and do what we were not able to this year. SHUT THE GRIZZ FANS UP!!!!!!!! :twisted:
