Rahe's base salary, before bonuses, for this season was close to $145,000, and a new contract would raise that number.

I noticed it changed from $145,000 to $194,000 at the first of the year, I don't know if this change reflects the bonus or was just a salary increase. I think the $194,000 may have included the bonus. :?:

After hearing the ESPN announcers praising Rahe yesterday, and telling Weber St. fans "they ought to be a little nerveous about Rahe moving on, because he is so well respected around the country" and Cincy's Mick Cronin telling ESPN that Rahe is a great coach after the game, I feel a little better after reading this.
