Watching Towson's back just chew up the snow last week makes me think they wouldn't mind a covered field one bit....

3PM and dumping snow now in Spokane/Cheney. I hope this front keeps moving east and it is gone tonight.
Optimist I think a snow covered field definitely favors Towson. I think its something we could and will overcome though, a la quarterfinals 2010.luckyintheorder said:GoldenEagle said:Dozy said:The snow is supposed to subside by 10pm Friday. Plenty of time to get that field clear!

IMO snow favors EWU receivers as DB's struggle to make cuts WR's already know they are going to make. Throwing a wet ball isn't that difficult to wide open receivers. EIU wasn't as deep as EWU at wideout, so bump coverage could work on Lora and slow down EIU. Not going to completely stop West, but EIU looked like they didn't want to be out there, EWU won't give up and will find a way. Hinders both teams at various points to have snow on field. Equalizer in the run game, with big hogs pushing upfield and Forte/Brown hitting holes hard. Call me an optimist.
