Weber 2017 Season

Griz til I die

Well here we are, the last team in the big sky. Weber to me is gonna be the most intriguing team to watch in the big sky this year. IMO, I don't think they're gonna be as good as they were last year. It seemed like there whole offense flowed through that QB last year, now he's gone, so now where do they go? There defense isn't the strongest either.

My prediction: 7-4 and Weber misses the playoffs due to one of their wins being against Western and Weber is on the outside looking in this year. That's my final prediction, what's your guys'?

7-4 is always a gamble, but my guess is this schedule would get you in at 7-4, especially if things finish up like they did last year with a lot of teams struggling to even have a somewhat plausible resume.

Idk I don't think it will. If things shake out like I predicted, Weber will only have 6 DI wins. The same thing happened to the griz in 2010 and we missed the playoffs because of it.

If I remember right, the Griz had four FCS losses that year. If you go 7-4 with a D2 or lesser win, you better have a BCS "excusable" loss on your resume. That way, the 7-4 winds up looking more like 6-3. Four FCS losses makes you look more like 6-4. I suppose that's why the committee always talks about strength of schedule; if you've got losses, they better be somewhat excusable.
