I'm really glad that Weber has Bamforth. We almost didn't get him. It was really lucky, for the Cats, that he didn't play the entire year last year. He might have ended up going somewhere else. No matter, what a great kid. His interview on Weber Wall really shows his maturity, personality, and work ethic. Wow!!

Along with Lillard, Hughey, and Bamforth, I think this years Cats have got to be some of the hardest workers to have ever step onto the hardwood here at Weber. Bull, Morris, Mahoney, Fulton, Davis, Richardson, Tres, Hajek, Porter, and the rest are always at the gym either pumping iron, working on their shots, or doing cardio.

He was also New Mexico player of the year 06-07. He greyshirted his first year at W. Neb CC, played his freshman year at Western Nebraska CC, and then the injury last year. He may be the next Big Sky newcomer of the year, you never know.

The thing I respect about Coach Rahe the most is that he is able to get young men who are good on the basketball floor but even better off it. What an inspiring story - I'm glad to have Mr. Bamforth in Purple and White and I do hope he is the Big Sky newcomer of the year.
