Huge playoff implications. This is a must win game for Idaho State after losing to Cal Poly, even then they may not get in. If we win we are Conference Champs and likely a 2 or a 3 seed. If we lose, we probably have to bid for a first round home game.

Weber should win if the defense is plays like they have most of the year and the offense maintains possession. The Bengals seem vulnerable to the run. Josh Davis with another big game and we take a week off to prepare for the playoffs.

A huge game. Unfortunately for Idaho State, I think they are out of the playoffs regardless. I think the Montana State/Montana winner may get the at large for business reasons. Idaho State beat Montana State, but the committee is all about getting a Montana team in, especially if it is Montana.

I am encouraged that Cal Poly was able to run on Idaho State, hopefully that bodes well for the offense. If Weber State’s defense plays up to their usual level, and the team doesn’t commit turnovers, I think Weber State will win.

Idaho State hasn’t been beat at home yet, so it’s going to be a hard fought game. Go Wildcats! Make it back-to-back champions.

Possibly the most important game in Weber State history with what the implications of a win could be for the Wildcats.

A rivalry will be reborn on Saturday. Weber better be ready for a fight.

GO WEBER, BEAT THE BUNGLES!!!

If Idaho State wins, why do they not at least have a playoff shot? They would have a win against the #3 team and only 4 losses.

They have a shot, but they would only have 6 D1 wins. It would depend on how other bubble teams do. Montana/Montana State winner would have 7 D1 wins. North Dakota might also have 7 D1 wins. No way all of those schools get a bid.

Depth Chart is out.

Mo Cannon is listed as the starter at LG in place of Cole McGinnis
Jayden Palauni is the starting DT which he was sharing with Jared Schiess

Aaron Sessions took over long snapper duties from Kallin Fisher a couple games ago.
Miles is still listed as QB2 though it is likely Ricedorff
McGinnis went from starting to not listed on the 2 deep and is mentioned as having an injury.
No other changes.

Cats are favored by 5.

Need another big day from Josh Davis and Constantine is due for a turnover-free game.

We should be able to run on ISU, it will come down to turnovers and how well our defense can limit ISU's offensive production. I'll be there, it's going to be a great game. Hopefully a statement game for the playoff committee. I want that #2 seed!

Need to get back to causing turnovers and better special teams play. No takeaways the last 10 quarters after leading the nation before that. Too many dropped interceptions. Kickoff coverage has been bad last several games. That has to improve against an ISU team with an explosive offense. Can't give them good starting field position.

Really want to see a complete game tomorrow afternoon to feel good about a deep run in the playoffs. ISU has done a good job of protecting their QB this year but Jay Hill has been great with timely blitzes to get Toia, Stice, and Benjamin on free runs at the QB. Cats really need to harass Gueller into some bad throws early on. I anticipate Weber being able to run the ball well and limit their ground game. I don’t want to see any more muffed punts or missed field goals.

Prediction: Cats win by 2 scores and get to celebrate the conference championship on the Bungles field.

Game Day is here. Looks like the drive might be snowy. Leave early Wildcat fans.

Love to see a dominant win today, but I would settle for a win with no major injuries.

Lets go take care of business and not give the committee a reason to shove Eastern ahead of us in the polls or seeding. This is the biggest game in Weber State history. Lets take advantage of it.

GO WILDCATS!

Both these things happened. Two takeaways, including the pick that pretty much saved the game. The way ISU was playing, they score there and things could have very easily gone a different way. Special Teams was huge. Blocked punt, Shaheed's TD return, and no big kickoff returns allowed. But they weren't perfect. The hit after the fair catch, and wasn't the late hit on a punt return?

My .02
Awesome game. Significant win.

Offense - B
Balanced attack. Constantine made some good throws and some less good throws. One turnover. Time of possession was big. We seemed in control for most of the game. 6 of 14 on 3rd down. Solid running attack.

Defense - A minus
We owned the line of scrimmage. Made a high powered offense look anemic. 3rd quarter was a little less than stellar. The two takeaways were huge.

Special Teams - B plus
Lots of positives, a few negatives. TD return and blocked punt gave us a huge lift. Good recovery on the onsides kick attempt. A few mistakes on the fake punt, the ISU return called back on a penalty, the late hit penalty on the punt coverage, and the missed field goal. I believe we also mishandled a couple punts that could have cost us

Solid win. Thrilled with the fan support. Bring on the playoffs. Time to make some noise.
