eGriz:

eber State should win this game. They have the best quarterback and runningback in the conference. They spanked us at their place early in the season, and they spanked Cal Poly on their home turf late in the season, right after Cal Poly took Wisconsin to the wire in Madison. They have a balanced offense and a good defense. They're the conference champs.

Montana, on the other hand, is limping into the quarter-finals. We appear to be without Trumaine Johnson, and Marc Mariani looks to be less than full strength. Our passing game is sputtering. Our defense is giving up yards, but fortunately not many points. But we haven't played anybody the likes of Weber State lately.

On paper, it looks like about a 35-27 win for Weber State on Saturday. But I hope our guys play with an underdog mentality and refuse to let a more athletically gifted team win one in Missoula. Can these guys find a way? I guess that's why they suit up, ain't it?
