Weber not going to Alaskan Shootout next year?

Looks like the field is being pout together and the 'Cats are not listed?

From Basketball Diaries: New Mexico State has agreed to play in the Great Alaska Shootout next season as an exempt tournament. The Aggies will open the tournament against Dartmouth with a possible second round game against Murray State. USC, San Francisco, Alaska-Anchorage and Southern Miss are other potential teams at the tournament.

We'll see how many named will actually play, maybe we go again?

Maybe Weber is playing in two years. I know that the contract was for two tournaments. Or, perhaps Weber was bought out and that the Cats have another tournament for next season. Who knows??? I like that field though. There are some good looking teams participating next season.

After the scare we gave Arizona State this year, I would be shocked if they let us come back since we will be a top notched team

Hey maybe we will get invited to Hawaii's tournament, or USU's milk the cow classic again

I've heard a rumor...unsubstantiated of course (gotta love how things are done on forums), that Weber is toying with the idea of having their own HOLIDAY TOURNY. If the Bull Milkers can have their own Tourny, why couldn't a metropolitan area, along the Wasatch Front, have one? Hell, Ogden actually does have people and business, and we all know that Ogden doesn't depend on, or really support Weber, whereas, Logan would DIE without USU. Lets steal the CHEESE Classic and turn it into the Dog Food 8!!

A trip to Hawaii or Puerto Rico wouldn't be bad...
