Weber Prediction

This game isn't going to be pretty. The ISU coaches will be pressing this week, the players have no faith in the staff or desire to play for them, Weber is looking to rebound and turn things around this year. Just their luck they get the Bengals this week.

Without the crowd of Montana to give some sort of adrenaline to the players, they look more like the team on the field against NAU or PSU rather than the Griz.... tired and slow is how Z put it.

The one positive could be that if the game is similar to the NAU/PSU games, maybe the administration will fasttrack the rebuilding process and get rid of the Zam Sham Show.

After reading through your fan board it seems as if this game is the last thing on your minds. Can't say that I blame you though, with players quitting, coaches on the hot seat, etc.... I hope the players on both teams are focused on the game and not all the outside distractions going on. I want to see a good physical hard fought game with a WSU win.

Weber - 42
ISU - 24 (TMobile accounting for 2 TDs)

Weber - Coming off a bye. Ticked they lost at home to EWU. Rivalry game. Good QB. Good Coach.
ISU - Fans calling for a coaching change. Players dismissed, then back on the team. DEF players playing OFF. Near or at the bottom in most, if not all, offensive statistical categories.

Weber scores early and often. TMobile gets yet another return for a TD in the first half. The few remaining fans stick around to see TMobile score his second TD return. AJ Storm goes off for 20+tackles again.

I'm hoping for some first quarter points. We've done next to nothing on the scoreboard in the first half of EVERY game and 0 TD's in the first quarter.

ISU gives up a ton of points in the first half. I also can't remember the last time ISU had a game with zero turnovers. ISU taketh, but they also giveth.

Maybe we won't dig ourselves into a first half hole for a change..

This is a game of redemption...

Weber knows the problems that ISU are having and are taking the Bengals lightly while looking for an easy victory. ISU, hopefully is focusing on the game and prep and not the fan's dissonance. There's something about a team when their backs are against the wall. The tune before kickoff should be Van Halen's "Right Now." An ISU home win could bring back some spring into the steps of players, staff and fans.

Upset City...

ISU 27 - Weber 23

Call me a homer if you'd like, but that's my East Idaho optimism kicking in.

I hope you're wrong predicting ISU over Weber. If Weber plays as bad as it has, like 3 INT's VS EWU, or 6 fumbles lost VS UNC, ISU will be right in this game. Or Higgins has a big day-ISU has had it.

I have a feeling that those of us that have been bashing on Zamberlin this week may end up falling on our swords for a few days after this one.

I say ISU wins this game and then proceeds to lose out and Z's fate is sealed.

I hope that ISU wins it is the only game I can watch. I think about 16 guys from my platoon will be huddled around my computer for the game.

ISU 35 WSU 34

Hope so too cub. ISU's offense did show some signs of life against Montana last week. And Weber's not as good as they were last year.

"And Weber's not as good as they were last year."

Unfortunately, ISU under Zam seems to make teams look really good, even the teams that are having down years.
