Weber St vs Eastern Wash

Im suprised that 3/4's of the season is over and we havent even played each other yet, Weber has played UNC,UM,MSU,and NAU twice, Sac,ISU and PSU once but have not yet played EWU. Strange scheduling.

Well this game scares me, EWU is playing very improved lately and have won 4 of thier last 6 games, sure Weber is hot but the road has not been kind to us this year and EWU is always a beast on thier own home court, this game is going to be a good game.

Here's hoping for a good game tomorrow and a Wildcat victory. :notworthy:

And quite a game it was, well parts of it anyway. During the game I wondered why they continued to allow Griffin the try to force the ball to the basket when Weber collapsed in every time he got the ball. The Wildcat bigs are too good inside to try to force things inside. When (rarely) Griffin kicked it out we had good 3 point shots. Now, looking at the stats it seems confirmed, we shot better beyond the 3 than regular field goal shots. The really amazing part is, Weber shot 3's at a 64% rate and regular f/g at almost 50%.
It is surprising we were as close as it was. The kids really worked at defense and off. reb.

Ah ya never know, once his players start to progress and they get older and more experiance, Earlywine might just have one of the more dangerous teams in the Big Sky the next few years.
