Some of my Ute fan friends have told me that they are counting no show season ticket holders. That the actual attendance has been less than 4,000 per game. Many of the long time supporters still buy tickets, but attend just a few games. It's kind of sad actually.

i like the trend. hopefully it continues in 2013-14!

I shed no tears for Ute cowards!

Ask your Ute friends if the rumor that they are replacing Swoop with the San Diego Chicken is true!?!?

I hadn't heard about the San Diego chicken. However I did hear that they were considering a take off on Foghorn Leghorn. to be named 'Ute Hill Red'. He wouldn't be able to do all of the tricks that the chicken does, but he would be able to lay an egg at any, random, moment.

The problem they have with Swoop is that he can not fly like a normal red tailed hawk can. They need to go with a more realistic, red bird. The Road Island Red is a perfect alternative. That way they don't have any copy right issues with the 'Chicken'.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

To hang out with Swoop and his coward Ute buddies.

What do you get when you cross a chicken with a Ute?

A clucking coward!

Good work Pirate! There is a lot of truth in the words you speak. The Utes have replaced the Cougars as the most despised in the State. They have really big heads for a school with such poor athletic programs.
Then, to lie so blatantly about their basketball attendance.... The biggest lie is the one they are telling themselves.
