Oh totally agree. and whats up with the weird cat head that has just randomly appeared on everything. we have a logo.. no need for more. plus my personal opinion is its UGLY but thats just mine. glad to see they finally got a #1 shirt. hopefully it looks like a jersey. thatd be sweet. blow away all those jimmer jersey shirts from last year

anything but the official shield logos are bookstore logos they made up. that is why you do not see these other logos on the athletic uniforms. the bookstore has been terrible indeed when it comes to jerseys these past few year but other than that they have a great selection of hats, tee's and hoodies. when i was a student....well yikes. we had 1 or 2 hats to choose from and there was no apparel store like you see now.

Can someone explain why Weber never has it's jerseys or hats off-campus? I have never understood this lack of marketing for a great recruitment and support opportunity.

I have heard that the bookstore won't give the rights to make or sell any Weber apparel outside the bookstore but I don't know how true this is.
I agree the selection at the bookstore is greater than in years passed but making up a logo to put on apparel doesn't really support the school because ppl don't know that logo is associated with the school. They need to keep an athletics logo and a school logo and that's its. Keeps things simple.

The bookstore excuse has always been the reason I have heard through the years and to me it perpetuates the local belief that Weber is second class. I came from out of state to attend years ago and have never understood the local attitude. I chose to come to Weber State, and am still proud of that choice. Then I chose to stay in the area and raise a family here. I have had athletes and friends in town who were considering Weber but when you take them out and they can't even buy a logo'ed item in a local store that is full of Utah, BYU and Utah State gear - what kind of message does that send? Boosters don't get to campus much usually, and when we make an effort to pack the house and show our colors, we need to make those colors easily accessible. Sorry, this has bothered me for years and years. Thanks for the answer, though.

But what is the point of having another logo? We have a school logo and an athletics logo. Put those on apparel. Lien it becomes somethin people can recognize and are used to seeing.

i agree and im not sure i like the rumers i have heard about wsu changing the official logo to something else. what if it is lame?
