Good tough schedule.

THANKS ! To Athletics for the hard work in moving this program forward, they deserve a  I know that I've been a critic of the scheduling in the past & just want to say a positive way-to-go for this. AD Bovee said that the 2019 schedule is as competitive as it gets & the toughest since he's been here. I'm getting season tickets (for the first time in years) & hope thousands of fair weather fans like me do the same, win or lose!! :thumb:

Competitive Division I FCS football throughout...YES!

Hats off to athletics for making this happen. The 2019 schedule is definitely a tough and competitive schedule. I know that Bovee got a little guff after announcing the second FBS game against Nevada a few months back. So, getting another home FCS game on a 12 game schedule was huge for him and this program.

Should we give the credit to athletics or Jay Hill for the schedule? This is the same athletic dept that let basketball play the blind lumberjacks of the amazon the last 5 years. Id give Jay all the credit. Clearly the department just nods their heads as Rahe and Hill build their schedules. Jay Hill is actually trying to make his team better playing the best schedule he can. I for one am excited to see what he can do!

90% of the time I would definitely agree with you. However, the AD, SID with the approval of the football coach, creates the schedule for the football team. So, the department was highly involved in the process of assembling these schedules. Yet, in regard to basketball, Randy and his staff put the schedule together. Yes, the AD has mentioned the schedule issue and has gotten a little bit involved (Wyoming and the Beehive Classic) over the past few seasons. However, at the end of the day Randy has to own the schedule he allows to be created by his assistants and himself.

If not all the credit Athletics deserves some of it. The AD's and Coaches work together to build these schedules. Don't forget the reason Wyoming is playing in the Dee in a few years, it wasnt Randy who got them to agree. Regardless of how much anyone may dislike our Athletics team, you have to give them credit when they deserve it.

Late night thought: Can't help but think that our awesome 2017 season was a big reason we were able to schedule this series. Hope more success leads to more future match-ups like this.
