WEBER STATE @ SUU

With a great win at home vs Seattle, we now have to wait a whole week again to play a game, now we once again step out to the road to take on our instate (and soon to be conference) rival SUU. THe Thunderbirds come into the game with a record of 2-6 with wins over Cal St Bakersfield and Houston Babtist, losses to California Babtist, Utah State, Drake, Ball State, Oakland and IPFW.

Weber State holds a commanding lead in the series 20-6 and won the last meeting last year in Ogden 84-66.

Im predicting Lillard and co find thier shot and dismantle the Thunderbirds 86-69.

Rahe said in the Post game that SUU is just such a different team at home. He said Stew called him right after USU played in Cedar, and just said they are so much more physical and scrappy at home than they are on the road, like they are 2 different teams. SUU and Tulsa will be tough.

Agreed, Weber will need to do a better job shooting if they want to come out of Cedar City with a win. We cant continue to keep having to come from behind by double digits, Lillard needs to "re-discover" his shot, our bigs need to go up stronger and make thier lay-ups, DUNK IT IF YOU HAVE TO, just go up stronger.

This is a huge game for SUU. They consider Weber to be a huge rival, and they will want this game. Weber needs to be prepared to face SUU's best team on Sat. However, and I'm not trying to belittle SUU, if Weber plays their game, hits some outside shots, and can get the inside outside rythmn going, it shouldn't be very close. I have a feeling the reffing is going to be terrible.

Yeah it would be nice to go play at an instate rival's home court and not get yanked by the refs for once.

Like I said before, Lillard and co are going to find thier shots and Weber will win surprisingly easy
