Now that the cartoon games are out of the way. The real season begins. A tough one this week, but go get em bengals. The next couple of weeks will reveal you to the rest of the big sky. Make them cower in your striped shadows!

The true test.Time to take the ankle weights off. We should see a whole new array of plays and a team ready to fight. Should be a good one.

Now that we're ready to start playing football  , maybe someone ought to tell the ISU coaching staff that they are going to have a difficult time establishing and building a competitive running attack with Clint Nickrehm as your go to guy at running back. We really need a Josh Barnett type guy back there. I love Clint's play, spirit, and efforts - especially on special teams but he's at best a second running back on a depth chart - anywhere but at ISU. Clint, prove me wrong and roll the WIldcats! :)
I got a real kick out of the ISU game announcers acting like they couldn't believe the difficulty of ISU establishing a running attack against OU. The real corker was when they decided to give scrimmage stats for the RB's - against the ISU defense. Hey, they had 70 yards then!

The first two games have been ridiculously predictable. But hey, there's a reason they scheduled these teams...

Weber State... After the Bengals work through their shell shock, I think that Weber will have a decent lead. However, the Bengals now face teams with similar skill, size and athletic abilities. They rebound and make a game of it. I predicted it in June and I still stand by it... ISU ends the season at or about .500 Maybe it's that cockeyed optimist in me. Who knows? Regardless, if I'm in ball park with that prediction, that is quite something, considering the first two games.

Go Bengals!

So who's all coming down to Ogden for the game Saturday? Should be a fun game, with great weather. It would be fun to see a lot of fans at this game for both WSU and ISU.
