This looks to be a great game, and so early in the Conf schedule. I hope Weber comes to play or they are in for a butt kicking, Eastern looks solid, probably should be 2-0 with wins over both Montana's

Definetely believe this is gonna be Weber's hardest conf game this year.

We are going to kick some Weber tail this week. Our guards are pretty good and should shut down Lillard. You are right that we should have beaten Montana. We won't make that mistake again. Coach will have them ready to play.

Eagles are very talented, but have Zero concept of team
ball. Chiverton is a selfish player who takes too many shots & doesn't get his teammates involved. Sounds like Hayford doesn't have control over his team. Are we witnessing Tyler Geving II in the making?

Nobody on this Eagle team is going to shut down Lillard like 1990 suggests.

Agree that nobody is going to shut down Lillard, but I do think we have a good chance to win this game as Weber is currently without it's starting 3 man (Bullinger, all-conf last year and a matchup nightmare in the Big Sky) and starting 4 man (Otis the transfer from SMU). As long as those two guys come back, Weber is still the class of the league. Better get them now...

It seems if there is a good time to play Weber, tomorrow is it. Weber has the injury bug and won't be at full strength. You always want to beat a team at full strength but a win is a win, especially against Weber.

I do like our chances, we are athletic, playing at home, and coming off a loss so we should be ready to play. I think this should be a great game, close throughout with a close Eagle victory. Lillard will get his points, he is too good, I'm more concerned that we need to hit some outside shots, if we shoot the 3 well, we should win.

We need better shot selection and fewer fouls. I don't know why we cannot play defense without committing so many fouls, but we aren't going to be much better than a .500 team sending our opposition to the line so many times a game. It's so huge at this point. Also, we need to work the ball around better than we have and create better looks. Too often we are forcing shots with way too much time on the clock. I gotta think that would help out in regards to assists (or lack thereof).

In Cheney, this should be a great matchup. Lillard could shoot 20 FTs in this game. I am excited for it, will be a great up and down game!

This x 1000

I hope our team is ready for the Eagles. This is a good time to play us compared to late Feb when we get 2 of our starters back from injury (1-2 weeks away). It should be a pretty good game. I'll be watching online.

Agreed, should be a good game and I'm just glad we have this game at home. It will take the Eags best effort to win this game. Weber State is 10-3 and has the nation's leading scorer. Let's rock!

Just heard Weber is second in Division I in foul shooting......that has to be a concern with how much we foul.
