Ideas:
The easiest way to organize a group to watch games on campus is to find a club or organization on campus that has access to a building or projector and just hook up a laptop to it and your good since Big Sky TV is free.
or know someone that will let it happen.
then just spread the word via email/phone/text...
I bet the viking student fan club could do it pretty easily.
Weber State formed the "Purple Pak" about 3-4 years ago. Ever since this club has been around its made it a lot easier to do things like this and organize bus trips to away games.
With the students paying a $20 due when joining it helps to fund events like the one on Thursday (funding food only). Also, they sell 6th man shirts too which helps for the funds.
Football season we had bus trips to NAU, ISU, & UM. Would never have happened without the Purple Pak.
We have a bus going to ISU next week, same story, then again it helps that ISU is just 2 hours away...if that even by car.
It's also nice having the Big Sky HQ in Ogden.
Let me know if you have any questions...I'm somewhat involved with the Purple Pak and see all the good ideas and things they do.
