Weber to play USU again in 2013

Does anyone know anything about us playing BYU? I wonder if we could ever get them to play in Stewart Stadium? I know its not likely, but with them being independant they can do what they want. Maybe we could set it up as a neutral sight game. I'm probably just dreaming but it would be nice to have them on the schedule.

I don't see BYU coming to us, the only way we're gonna play BYU is if they pay us and they won;t pay us to come to Ogden. Either way, it'd be a BYU homegame. I can see BYU scheduling us in 2012 or 2013 if they need a game and don't have another FCS team on their schedule. It's a quick jog from Provo.

FBS schools do not travel to play FCS schools, period.

BYU has brought in FCS schools recently, in '05 (E Illinois), '07 (E Wash), '08 (N Iowa), and Idaho St this season, so I guess a future game in Provo wouldn't be out of the question.

The USU contract was for two games: 2011 and 2013. Weber and USU are trying to create a scenario where the two teams play each other every other year. So, with that being said, I wouldn't be shocked to see USU on our schedule again in 2015.

At the Fullerton show, last Thursday, Bovee mentioned in his speech that there would be eventual games with Utah and BYU in the near future. That future could be as early as next year or 2013. I know that BYU has contacted Weber and that they are interested in playing us, as is Utah.

i hope we dont play utah again nor go to provo. id rather not play usu again after 2013 as well. what is in it for us to play these 3 schools? with the instate discount why play them? we need to find games else where against teams that will pay. unless there is a chance usu will be fcs by 2015.

If Weber and USU played every other year that would be great, it would be kinda cool if we could start a rivalry with them, of course we would have to beat them once and a while to call it a rivalry, but the downside is that if we did start beating them they would stop playing us (example Idaho-Montana)

I dont care for playing Utah or BYU, as I hope Weber stops playing Utah in hoops

Agreed, I'm all for playing USU...screw Utah and BYU.
