San Diego is a glutton for punishment. Shouldn't be close. Besides Eastern traveling to W. Ill., the James Madison at Weber St game could be a great one. Looking forward to watching that on ESPN+ as the rest of the BigSky has their shit together on media. Will Cal Poly be able to move the ball against South Dakota? I don't know anything about South Dakota but CP was only able to put a 28 spot on San Diego in the first game and South Dakota nearly beat Kansas (granted Kansas is a FBS bottom feeder). The rest don't really intrigue me. Montana is taking a bye. Hauck appears to have them back on track for BigSky titles and maybe more.

Did my first beef brisket this past weekend and IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Nothing special in the prep. Yellow mustard rubbed on meat, about 1 tsp per lb kosher salt, half that black pepper, half that again onion powder and half that again of cumin just because we like cumin.... Many hours of cooking, love and patience and the blessed hand of God. ;-) Honestly, it's all about the fat. So good. (Lot's of good videos on prep, I like Dawgfathas as straightforward and unpretentious)

you can't go wrong with brisket, just like you can never go wrong with ribs. I could be vegetarian if it wasn't for barbecue and fresh seafood. And steak. Hell, I could never be vegetarian, I don't know what I am talking about.

MSU pounded San Diego 52-10
OSU lambasted Idaho 42-0
N. Colo lost to Lamar No one cares
Cal beats Sac St 42-30 Hmmm. Closer than I thought
PSU squeaks by W. Ore
SUU slides by Tarleton 40-35 EWU puts up another 60+ spot if EB3 can clean up his cramping issues
James Madison puts Weber down 37-24 Didn't see it
NAU beat Arizona 21-19 Surprise, surprise, surprise Yes, it's like being beaten by Jim Nabors.

Saving the best for last:
South Dakota skrags Cal Poly 48-14 :dunce:

Texans got it right when you can't over complicate it.

Salt and pepper is all that a brisket needs.

Salt and pepper is good on nearly everything in my house. Spent some time in Texas, not sure they do much right there but the beauty of the brisket is you can't hardly F it up.. ;-) Pretty sure I didn't EAG it because it was delicious!! :D
