This will be another sub D1 team coming to the Dee. I tried to find video of them from this year, and was not able to. I looked up their roster. They are full of freshmen, RS freshmen, and sophomores. They have one senior and one junior, both guards. They have three big men, one 6'8'' and two 6'7''. All three will be playing their first year post HS.

Just from looking at their roster, I would think that they will be loaded with outside shooters. Teams at their level usually are. They will likely be vulnerable in the paint and on the boards. We should never take any team lightly, but these guys shouldn't be any better than the exhibition game. They won't have the size or athletes that we do. All of that does not guarantee a win, but I would be shocked with anything less than a blowout. :coffee:

Excited for basketball. Should be a good season. Probably will wait for better games before I go to the Purple Palace though.

Western Colorado was a better team than Concordia-St Paul, in almost every way.

We improved from the first game. After our bench allowed them to get back in the game in the first half, our starters came back in and set things back on track. That bench issue got corrected in the second half. In the second half, the second and third groups coming off the bench came in with a little fire in their eyes. I'm sure that the coaches got after them a bit at halftime.

Now they go out on the road to play against some bigger boys. It will be interesting to see how they respond. This preseason should prepare us well for BSC play.

This is a fun team to watch. They have turned up the speed and pressure. We saw glimpses of the pressure tonight. I feel that this team will get better and better, as the season goes on.

Can anyone inform me as to what the problem with Dontay Bassett is and how much longer he will be out?

Upcoming trip will definitely be a good test and measuring stick. Wildcats sure cranked it up when needed.
