I don't know much about these guys, despite the fact their school is only a 45 minutes drive from my house. Their game against Eastern is their season opener.

They look to have pretty good size on both lines. It also looks like they really recruit the state of Hawai'i hard... they have 13 Hawaiians and two with ties to American Samoa. They are thought to be in the hunt for their conference title, although most think Central or Humboldt State will win it (Azusa, Dixie State, and Simon Fraser are the others).

Obviously, we know that you can't overlook anyone and this team is good enough to surprise. It'll be important to have no letdowns. It would be fantastic if we could come out blazing and get Vitto at least half the game to run the offense.

Plus, we all know what happened the last time we played a D-II... Eastern beat Central by the skin of our sack despite being good enough to win the National Championship that year. These Northwest D-II programs are good teams and probably better than nearly all of those bogus non-qualifier FCS conference teams.

Perfect set-up to have a let down game.

Truthfully, I don't think it will happen. Not to sound too douchey, but I hope this game is over by half and we get a chance to get the 2 and 3's in so the starters can rest.

WOU is a decent club, i dont expect this will be an easy win. if i remember right they gave montana a good game a couple years back.

Absolutely on Vitto getting reps. Would be nice to also build depth at other positions.

My concern here is having the big win yesterday, is that going to go to the heads of the team. Are they going to look at it as an easy win. I hope they do it smart, take yesterday as a lesson, both ways. Anything is possible.

I tweeted to Adams and Clark "Stay hungry, stay humble." to which Clark said "Always!" and Adams favorited. Baldwin also talked about treating this game like they lost... because they almost did. I think he'll keep them on track.

Exactly. I think overlooking teams reflects on coaching. Our coaches won't do that. I predict an easy win because we won't overlook.

Taiwan Jone's first college carry at RB, the 80 yard TD, was against WOU back in 2009. :D

I believe it was 87 yards, can't cheat him, haha.

As much as I was against the schedule this year, and I still don't like it, having a D2 this week helps as we are setup for a natural let down game...

I still think we win going away...Hopefully the starters take care of business early
