EWU... much respect. All smack talk aside, y'all have one hell of a team. Adams is a stud, and will be wreaking havok in the BSC for years to come. Looking forward to our home and home.

Ditto. Great game guys. Good luck against the Bizuun. I think you guys will get 'en this time.

Gotta hand it to Sam Houston State, they've got the mojo working. We played awfully hard today, but a few too many turnovers and too many missed tackles cost us. Plus, it came down to us missing a short field goal and them making one.

I think NDSU would have been an easier matchup for us than Sam Houston State. Running teams just seem to have a better shot at us, especially a team with so many running options like the Bearkats. The truth is that the FCS was really stacked this year and the semifinals proved the difference at the top level was just a break or two going one team's way and not the other.

Hopefully, we can shore up a few positions for next season an make another run. I'm dreadfully worried about our schedule next year, so stealing a couple of early road wins will probably be the difference between getting another shot in the playoffs or not.

Next year, we'll lose alot on the defense side, Bell, Flanders and Sincere will all be back.

How many staters will y'all lose and will that 6'5" WR go pro?

We lose two receivers (not Kaufman), our right tackle (All American), two DEs and a DT, two LBs, and a safety. There are rumors about Kaufman going pro, but I doubt it'll happen. We have a lot coming back, but our schedule next year is absurd--- we open AT Oregon State, play a decent D-II team at home, and then go on the road to Sam Houston State and Toledo. We have to steal one of those 3 roadies to have a legit shot at the playoffs, or we wind up needing to win the Big Sky auto-bid. With a 13-team team conference, getting the auto-bid not only requires playing great, but getting lucky in not having a team you don't play tie you on record.

One of the biggest impediments to success we've had over the last couple of years has been the schedule handed to us by the AD. It gets even worse next year.

i will definitely be pulling for sam houston to pull out the upset.
Appreciate it.

A little side note, Tim Flanders stood on the sideline last year and watched NDSU celebrate their victory. He has a picture of their championship ring on his phone as a reminder of what could have been. If you watch the game, keep your eyes on #20, he'll be ready to finiSH what they started.

Again, one hell of a game. Hit us up on katfans if y'all plan on making the trip next year to Huntsville.
