I stated previously on this board that it seemed like the Big Sky is particularly awful this year (and last year too, really), so I did a little checking tonight to see if I was right. Turns out that I am. We are currently ranked 29th in the RPI out of 31 conferences. Only the SWAC and Big South are worse. We have 7 of our 10 teams ranked in the bottom 50.
It seems like it was not that long ago that we were consistently between 18 and 22 as a conference. Anybody have any answers as to what happened?
