What is going on?

Where was Daniels at RB and what did Kramer mean regarding describing Moore as "debonair"? I hope Tavoy's nerves are not getting the best of him.

Good point! I was really disappointed with the play calling. I just don't see how Yost is going to hold up. He is one tough guy. He needs some help from the O-line and even Jerry & Brad commented on the WR's needing TO BLOCK!!!!

But really, what is going on? Is it the defense knows our offense now, so their DBs are locking in on the WRs? Or has Yost been banged too often is now gun shy? Or is it our O-line?

What is going on is the last staff recruited a bunch of D2 talent and we are seeing the results. Yost is terrified(has good reason to be) that he is going to get drilled every play. Im sure the O Line players are great guys, but they aren't getting the job done.

D2 talent that still lost to D2 schools like CWU.

But yeah, let's play the so called best players from those 1 win teams which couldn't beat D2 schools and then blame the current coach for the current season. :dunce:

The D2 talent is not flying with me. We were with in seconds of beating a much better Montana team two years ago and if we would have had Yost at QB we most definitely would have won. We need to develop somewhat of a running game...two carries the whole game from the RBs is not going to do it. Yost can not take the punishment he is taking.

I agree. We either need to mix in more runs, or find a QB that can run like Vick to escape pressure and pick up first downs. Our high-flying offense was exposed this past weekend for being one dimensional.

Seconds from winning but we DIDN'T WIN! Montana overlooked us that year. They didnt lose though. We HAVE D2 talent on this team! Our O line doesnt have the strength to pass block and will definitely be a need in this years recruiting. I guess the great talent the last staff recruited is why we won so many games the past few seasons huh? face it tigerblood your nothing more than a :hater:

I think that as far as talent-wise, ISU and UNC are at the bottom of the barrell in this league, although we do have quite a few who could start for other teams in the league. I think that in the off-season Kramer and staff will probably go after a blend of JC transfers, and possibly some 1-A transfers, as well as some incoming freshmen. I don't think we have much of a running game because we need much better blocking, and we need to get a bigger, speedy back who can run between the tackles. I think that these are some of the areas that we'll need some immediate help with next season. I think that Yost is a very capable QB. At this point I'm not sure if we will win another game the rest of the season, but who knows, Kramer's a good enough coach that he has the capability to beat better teams with less talent.

Baring injury or a complete meltdown I think ISU will go with Tavoy the rest of the season. As a senior returner it could be a "do no harm" approach and allow him to finish out the schedule. First and foremost, he needs to secure the ball.

I could be entirely wrong.. IMO, given the few opportunities he's had Daniels has popped off some nice runs so just have to wait and see..

I think at this point the RB position is the least of concerns for Coach K and Bailey.

Idaho State dismisses RB Moore
Pocatello, ID (Sports Network) - Idaho State dismissed senior running back and return specialist Tavoy Moore from the team on Thursday, citing conduct unbecoming of a team member.

Idaho State also announced head coach Mike Kramer would not comment on the issue.

Moore has played in three games this season, totaling 230 all-purpose yards.

A year ago, the 5-foot-6, 193-pound Moore, from Long Beach, Calif., racked up 2,034 all-purpose yards and earned third-team honors on The Sports Network/Fathead.com FCS All-America Team as a punt returner.

Idaho State has a 2-4 record, including 1-3 in the Big Sky Conference.
