• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

What is Weber

WSU is known for Basketball, no doubt about that. But it would be nice for the football team to return to the top of the 1-AA ranks too. Saw in todays paper the Track teams both took 2nd place, and could of, should of placed 1st. My cousin runs for the women and they were upset, and ready for outdoor track to get some revenge.

WSU is definitely known for its awesome bball team, and its not-so-awesome (sorry) football team (in my humble not-get-around-too-much opinion), however as football is my favorite sport, I would love our football team to get back to the 1-aa.

Weber is definately known for it's Men's & Women's Cross-Country and Track programs. Coach Hislop was a coach for the USA Olympics team in 1996(I believe).

Basketball school. But the problem with that is Utah is generally a Football state. Football gets a lot of love while the generally better and more competetive basketball team often gets overlooked. I think though now that Mac's got football going in the right direction, soon we will be both football and basketball schools.

Oh and the fact that our hoops is Div 1A and football is not means weber is more of a hoops school.

It's all D l sports, you should post that on an Appalachian State site and see if they feel the same way. Weber could be a great football school if the fans would back it and not dog their team, "we're just D 1AA (FCS) so that means we suck".

When the football team starts winning more games and making a run at the BSC title this season, the fans will show up and support the team. Does anyone remember Mac's first game at Weber in 2005? Additional bleachers were set up in the south end zone and the attendance was near 18,000.
