I'm going to have to vote O-Coordinator. I'm still not convinced he can call a game and that they even have the right guy making the play calls.
 
I voted for receivers, Weber never has trouble finding runningbacks, And I've seen Hoke in action and I think he will be fine. Our O-line is going to be a bunch of Rhinos on a rampage.

Then it will have to be whether or not our OC can set a good game plan.
 
I voted WR. Just too little experience there. Not saying they can't or won't turn out to be good, but going into the season, they have to be a question mark.

Agreed, I put that as an option, but I really didn't think anybody would seriously vote for the O-line. They will be damn good.
As far as the players go I would have to pick WR as the biggest question mark going into fall camp.
 
I'm worried about the WR corp, but I think there is plenty of talent, just not a lot of experience. Raught, Walker, Johnson, Kehano, and Clemente...along with a number of new guys. I'm thinking Parker will be a nice weapon for the Cats... A guy at 6-6 230lbs, who can run a 4.6 is always nice to have.

I'm most concerned about the OC. Case in point: Against Montana, there was a great game plan set up that worked wonderfully, and ended up being the catalyst behind a solid W for the Cats. However, the problem was that he/coaching staff, used the same scheme against MSU instead of using some imagination and actually understanding the weakness of MSU he employed the same exact plan for the MSU game, when in reality Weber should have been passing the ball all over the field. No excuse for that loss. Weber handed MSU the game by playing to their strenght instead of taking advantage of State's weaknesses, which was their secondary. Weber should have put up a lot more points than what they did, but didn't because they became run obsessed. The OC has got to realize that each team is different, and that you have to use different schemes and create different plans to find consistent success.
 
Wide receivers. Kind of a no-brainer. Every other position has players that have seen at least a fair amount of playing time. Raught, Walker and Kehano have very little experience.
 
I think this is the O-coordinators last chance at redemption. Not that he should be fired, just demoted to positional coach only. Coach Beck should get a shot if our offense sputters with the best O-Line in the Sky.
