What's Up With Northern Colorado

A couple more players transferring out today. I think that is 3 or 4 now. They are either having a great recruiting season or they are just cleaning house.

Where is BearDown, to give us the skinny on it?

Sinking ship?... bailing before they go under.

Montana guard Riley Bradford is transferring too, but I don't see this as a big loss.

Northern Arizona seems to be bleeding players as well. It's like starting all over each year. Hopefully, they have good players in the wings or things could get worse before they get better.

I don't think much of Montana's defection either. He wasn't going to play anyway. Their guard line is stacked.

Northern Colorado's defections seem to be a little more meaty. I really don't know what to think about NAU.

Nationwide, the transfer list grew by leaps and bounds today. There are a lot of freshmen and sophomores on the list. The JCs, D11s and D111s are licking their chops. There are some good players that will slide to the lower divisions. I'm sure that some will slide into the BSC as well. We have some teams that make a living on the transfers. They don't win a lot of championships, but they get some good players. :twocents:

Jeremiah Jefferson and Hayden Hunter now appear on the transfer list of ESPN. Sayonara to a couple of good guys. Good people who didn't perform up to the standard they needed to I think. Wish them luck wherever they end up... Now we definitely have two scholarships for this year... We now have Cannon, John, Gittens, Richardson, Baker, Williams & Senglin (7 in all) guys who can play the three guard positions. Each position has at least 3 guys who can play those. I think it is enough guards, especially since we have already signed a missionary guard for when Senglin and Gittens graduate. I think we should be looking for a guy who can combo the center & power forward position and potentially start next year,; probably a GR transfer. And the second signing should be another big who can be developed for a year. I'm just saying...

OOPS! Only six guys... But at point we can play Cannon, Senglin and John. At shooting guard we can play Senglin, Gittens and Richardson and at the wing we can play Gittens, Baker and Williams. It is enough guards for next year. Lets get two bigs, one who plays and helps immediately for one year and one who takes a year to develop.

Keep in mind that we have Tim Fuller coming in two years from now. I agree that this might make the option of a transfer more viable. However, IMHO  , I still don't see it happening unless it is a huge difference maker. :twocents:
