• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Maybe I shouldn't be, but must admit that I'm a little suprised that EWU doesn't get many "Good luck and win it all for the conference" good wishes on this or any of the other team forums. I've always felt that once the playoffs begin you kind of grit your teeth and go for your regional and other big sky teams.

Must be just me. I also am convinced that Bedford Falls is a real community that Goerge Bailey saved with his wonderful life.

There's been a some good wishes but far too many do seem to be rooting against us, calling us poor fans, etc. It gets old particularly after all those years of pulling for the Griz when they were carrying the torch but there's little we can do about it except continue to improve all aspects of the program (facilities, attendance, and so forth) and let that speak for us. Remember to be welcoming to those UM or MSU fans that make their way west!

On a different note, I saw one post from a Griz fan that said he might plan on walking up for tickets to the game since, of course, there would be no difficulty getting them. Wish I had taken a picture of the guys I saw last weekend in the parking lot holding signs reading "need tickets". Wonder if they ever got in!?

Thanks Stang and we are glad to have you as part of the BSC!

I think you are right Hannah, we will have to let our actions continue to speak as things improve. And they DO need to improve. But wow, there are some angry posts out there regarding the Eagles and EWU fans. It seems to me that EVERY program has their fair share of obnoxious fans. I remember walking into Husky stadium last year decked out in my EWU gear and having an inebriated student "flick" the logo and say something like '"Really, you really think you have a chance"? Yet the bulk of folks were respectful (especially after we nearly beat them). And at Frisco I went out of my way to thank a Bobcat fan for coming down, sitting in our crowd, and cheering along with the rest. It seems to me that a lot of other teams fans aren't excited about having to compete for the Big Sky Championship.

You won't hear it from many Griz fans. I've always felt quite a number of them only want the Griz to succeed and it ruffles their feathers to see other programs succeed. Not the best mentality. A competitive Big Sky = a strong and healthy Big Sky.
