Yikes!! That is a huge dis to Weber State. By the Vikings giving out 300, that is representative of close to 1/3 of all attending fans, if the Stott ended up being full, getting a shirt. Whereas, Weber is giving out 250 which is 1/48 of all the possible attending fans that could show up at the Dee. Hmmm... :wall: Well, maybe the Marketing department is hoping that only 1/2 of the Dee is full. It seems like that is what they are shooting for with their marketing campaign, which would then mean that only 1/24 is covered by a free shirt during the white out. :lol: :rofl: :doh:

Ya'll know that these here white outs and black outs don't work unless there are butts in the seats, and that, that won't happen till Weber takes a serious approach to marketing and disseminating information cogently. Right? I like the idea, but it gets kinda embarrassing when they are only ordering 250 shirts, because if they order more they won't get used.

Lets see...things to market on
1. Lillard
2. Potential for 3 conference crowns in 4 years and 4 in 6 years.
3. Consistently good team, that plays well together, and wins
4. Did I mention Lillard
5. A chance to chant "Big Sky Refs Suck"
6. Bengalhater screaming nonesense
7. Weber is 15-3...only one of the best starts in program history
8. Who wouldn't want to see Skills in a purple suit
9. A chance to get a picture of yourself on Weberhoops.com

Most of our crowds are families that don't go to college anymore. So while 200 of us in the Students Section will be wearing white out, what about the other 5,500 that aren't students? Exactly, Dubs. I'd bet even less than half who get the shirts show up for the game. Perhaps they are handing them out on campus in order to simply spread the word and get more people to the game, not necessarily to get all those shirts in the arena. But why not just give out 1,200 at the doors and you are guaranteed ALL of them show up? Seems like common sense to me. Come on athletic department. Use your heads... :doh:
