Who should be the starting QB?

I thought Jason Smith was likely a lock, but now I'm not so sure. John Loeliger was impressive in spring drills and look at his numbers from the scrimmage on Saturday.

Overall, the quaterback combination of Smith, Loeliger, McLeod Bethel-Thompson and Dominic Carmazzi combined to go 24-of-42 for 238 yards and three touchdowns. Loeliger statistically had the best day, connecting on 12 of his 14 attempts for 124 yards and three scores.

Those are pretty impressive numbers to say the least. Good to finally see some good competition at this position.

Smith for sure.......We saw that last year! It was just a scrimmage and Jason was not himself..Guess no one is entitled to a bad day!

Not when there are only 11 days a year he has to be on his game.

Those 11 days haven't happen this year have they...Give the guy a break.

I’m with GCM. If the Hornets are going to have a winning season, there will need to be solid consistent play from the QB position. With that said, based on last years performance Smith gets the nod. :geek:
