Who starts at QB?

I'm going with White as my starter, but I feel very confident with Howland if I'm wrong or circumstances put him on the field.
No desicion made until fall practice begins and if any of you know anything about football, QB for run/shoot requires 4 abilities,
and you need to remember what MD said and I bet the bank on
Tygue Howland , dual threat QB, reads the field stronger,
spring game more consistant, 10 -12, had one more possession
3 snaps would had = 45 yds 1 td to match, dont sell Howland short,

BigDog, you make a lot of sense. Howland has been touted by Mouse as the QB to beat, but nothing can be decided until they get some snaps behind them this summer. On the other hand, talking about it here keeps the interest up and shouldn't be discouraged. But who am I to say that to you, the VET?

I'm sorry. From what I've seen, there's no way Howland will beat out White. His vision doesn't make his throws any better-White is much more accurate. As to confidence, what I've seen of White has been plenty confident. I think Howland could be good, but I have zero reason to believe he'll be the starter this year.

I wasn't fishing for a response. I have seen them both play and White is much more game ready than Howland. If you want to see PSU win 6 games go ahead and start Howland.

My opinion that White will start is based off watching several spring practices as well as the spring game. However having said that I truly believe that it could come down to a decision 15 minutes before kickoff, as both players are ably fit with talent but still have much too prove. We just don't have enough info to do anything more then speculate.

I have seen them throw in practice and scrimmage. More of Howland's reps in the spring game came against guys who weren't on the first team defense. Repeatedly, Howland couldn't hit on deep balls, even without pressure, and he couldn't hit on screen passes. White was better, and therefore deserves to start until he loses.
Just admit you're close friends with Howland, so we can understand why you see so much in a guy who has only played in one college game.

AT spring game Howland hit short and deep balls hence 206 yds of passing
10 of 12, and for the few who deny Howland preformance as I mentioned in a initial
posting rolled left evaded a sack rolled right stepped up 5 yds threw a strike for

which I'll bet you'll see at fall practice during summer break, the need for recievers
is what needed and Joesph from colorado couldn't be a friend of White, oh
former teammate, like i said, you boys ned to open those eyes and step up to the plate
with facts what you saw at practice, Glanville and Davis were there, read the articles
and their comments
