It seems every year, or just about, we are facing crisis at QB. To play this scheme you require a few years of a QB that has been groomed in the system. That QB goes down/leaves it exposes the entire offensive output for the year.
Why do we continually try and use this offensive scheme? We don't have the depth, ability or success in using this scheme. Look at Poly, they beat Montucky with a new coach and CP has a new QB, why, because they run the option which doesnt put total emphasis on the QB position. And complex pass routes.
College at our level is based on constant change and uncertainty, lets employ an offensive scheme that embraces and spreads the ability to interchange players easily w/o jeapordizing year after year.
MBT is essentially out for the year regardless of what anybody says. Flemming is it. If he goes down there goes another season and it shouldnt be that way.
