Why does it matter if we get to 20 losses?

I keep hearing fans and posters talk about not getting to 20 losses. What is the difference between 19 and 20 losses? We still will have: a losing record, the worst season under coach Rahe, no post season for the 3rd year, coach Rahe back next year and we will still have one of the nations leading scorers on a completely selfish team. I quite searching for moral victories months ago. Things are really broken right now and the number of losses doesn't change that.

Oh it’s a crappy season no matter whether it’s 18, 19, or 20 losses. It’s just something to shoot for avoiding...like an MLB team losing 100 games. I guess that’s how bad the program is right now...wanting to avoid the big number.

It was kind of similar to hoping the football team wouldn’t go 0-11 under Greybeal. Somehow they beat Idaho State and avoided being the first winless team in Wildcats history.

Too funny. It’s been pretty grim for them.

I remember going to games that year and leaving at halftime because the game was out of hand. I honestly had to check the score because I thought that was one year they wouldn’t beat Idaho State. The uniforms were also awful...Baltimore Ravens style with white helmets and pants. The football team has come a LONG way!

Now basketball program looks like a sinking ship. I think next year could get ugly!

we are 9-19 vs d1. 20 losses is a guarantee for 2020. excluding nons we have had 4 20 win seasons in 14 yrs but this would be the first to get the Bengal 20.
