Wildcat Defense

I heard, a while back at a Wildcat Club luncheon, Mac say that this season's defense could be the best he's had since coming to Weber. I know that Weber's defensive line, safeties, and backs will be pretty impressive, but what about the Linebackers. Also, what do you all think about the defense? Who is going to be the biggest newcomer contributer?

Look at the recruits Coach Mac brought in, tough as nails, and they can contribute right off the bat. Linehan is nutz, Barkdull is solid, Caldwell is a great 3rd down pass rusher, Larson will step it up, and Eastman is a Big Sky Pre Season All Conference coming off a great 'true freshman' season getting Honorable Mention. Depending on the front 4, this could be a 'Cat quick defense, lots of penetration and plays behind the line of scrimmage. If the D can hold the opponents to 20 points or less, we're going to have a very memorable season. GO WILDCATS
