Wildcat Fan Fest set for Saturday

The annual Wildcat Fan Fest will be this Saturday, Aug. 25 at Stewart Stadium, kicking off the 2012-13 Weber State Athletics season. This year's Fan Fest will held from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and is free to the public.

The Wildcat football team will practice beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Stewart Stadium with the Fan Fest beginning at 10:00. Following the conclusion of practice at 11:00 a.m. the Wildcat Club will host a Chalk Talk on the fourth floor of the Stadium Sky Suites. New Wildcat head coach Jody Sears and other Wildcat assistant coaches will talk with fans and preview the upcoming season. Weber State's team captains will also address the fans.

At approximately 11:45 a.m. the captains will give fans a tour of the football locker rooms giving fans a behind-the-scenes look and a glimpse into the Wildcats' locker room and pre-game traditions.

After the Chalk Talk and locker room tours fans will be able to interact with Wildcat football players and have autographs and pictures and participate in football and other sports games and contests throughout the stadium.

Admission to the Fan Fest is free to all. WSU posters and schedule cards will also be given away. There will also be face painting from the WSU Spirit Squad, Wildcat merchandise for sale, and concessions available.

Don't miss a day just for the fans and get ready for the upcoming athletics season at the Fan Fest this Saturday at Stewart Stadium.
