Wildcat offense running toward records
http://media.www.wsusignpost.com/media/storage/paper985/news/2008/10/15/Sports/Wildcat.Offense.Running.Toward.Records-3488537.shtml

As of the end of the UNC game:

Trevyn Smith (junior) needs 381 rushing yards to break the all-time career rushing record. He could do that against ISU alone! He currently has 3,212 career rushing yards.

Tim Toone (junior) needs 255 yds receiving to be move into 10th all-time in career receiving yards. Currently he has 2,026 yds.

Cam Higgins (soph) Higgins is leading the nation in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. His 25 touchdowns are second most in WSU history, and he needs 10 more to break Martin's record of 35 in a year.

Higgins needs 26 yards to be the 10th most passing yards in a single season all-time.
Higgins is already sitting at third on the all-time list for passing touchdowns with 42, and eighth on the all-time list for passing yards with 4,493.

If Higgins' career ended today, he would hold the WSU records for completion percentage and passing efficiency.

oct 20:

With his touchdown catch on Saturday, Tim Toone has 16 career TD receptions, which ties him with Dell Stilson (1988-1994) for third place in WSU history. Wade Orton (1984-1988) holds the record with 18 followed by Trevor Shaw's (1989-1993) total of 17. ... Smith is getting closer to breaking Nick Chournous' (2001-2004) all-time WSU rushing mark of 3,593 yards. The junior finished with 119 yards on Saturday and now has 3,209 yards in his career as a Wildcat. Smith is averaging 95.75 yards per game this season and if he continues that pace he'd be one yard shy of the record after WSU's four remaining regular-season games. ... Cameron Higgins has thrown 25 TDS this season and is 10 short of the mark Jaime Martin set in 1991.
