We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Will either of these two follow Coach Ward to ISU?

Trappers Hansen Solarin earn regional honors

Northwest College freshmen Chris Hansen and Jeffrey Solarin were honored by the Region IX men’s basketball coaches with inclusion on the region’s postseason rosters. Hansen also had his name forwarded for All-America consideration.

A highly-touted recruit, Hansen proved to be a workhorse for the Trappers, who finished 22-9 this past winter. The 2011 scoring leader for Colorado high school basketball averaged almost 30 minutes per game for Northwest College, scoring a nightly average of 18.7 points per contest.

Nice conjecture about possible players, but where's the staff? Are we waiting to announce both in one press conference? The sky's not falling, or is it?

1st Assistant--Andy Ward Northwest College http://www.northwestcollege.edu/athletics/staff/detail.dot?inode=228260&crumbTitle=Andy Ward

2nd Assistant--Jay Colling from NAU http://www.nauathletics.com/sports/mbkb/2010-11/releases/6.11.10collins

Both are on staff and working. Formal announcement will probably be made when 3rd coach is hired. This staff is already recruiting and has had official visits already. Offers have been made to athletes and this show is moving forward. This staff is way farther along than most programs are during a transition period.

I am not sure if anyone has been out recruiting quite yet and making offers. Perhaps getting ready. It is a "dead period" right now for NCAA D-1 recruiting. But the end of this week is a contact period, and next 2 weekends are "viewing periods."

Idaho State has been recruiting the JC ranks and has evaluated talent. They have also extended offers and have had official visits.
