Will Plemons to a D-1 school, who is the new coach?

Jon Osterhout returned to the Hornets yesterday as Sac State's Defensive Line Coach to replace Will Plemons who has received an offer to coach at a D-1A (FBC) School. Congrats to Will and its a thrill to have Jonny O back at Sac State. He was at the University yesterday to sign his contracts and will be here at the end of next week with his very pregnant wife, Ali, who will deliver a baby "Hammerhead" boy around April 4th. Nebraska has not yet announced his departure, but he leaves with the blessing of Coach Pelini. He's only has two classes left to earn his Master's Degree from Nebraska and can finish those online. Thanks to Coach Sperbeck and Coach Baiz for giving him the call and making this happen. Those of you who know me, can't imagine how excited I am about this! GO HORNETS!!!!

p.s. The team and athletic department found out about this yesterday, so even though there isnt' yet an official release, I'm sure its OK to mention this now.

Sweet! Indeed, HHD that is great news. It is always nice to bring back a coach who is a Hornet through and through...and a Hall of Famer too.
