WK1 FCS Playoffs Games Prediction

Wanted to do this as two polls for each half, but couldn't figure it out. Going with the tried and true.

Games Eastern Bracket:

Stony Brook @ SEMO: Watched a lot of CAA this season and not sure why they got all the love. Think the road teams are going to struggle as a rule even against OVC SEMO.

ETSU @ Jax St: Could be a let down after a bad beat in triple overtime last week against Kennesaw. Hope everyone saw that game, it was one of several barn burners this past weekend. Jax bounces back

Lamar @ UNI: Tough to play in the dome. UNI over Southland anything

San Diego @ Nicholls: This could be a surprise as San Diego is used to making the playoffs but think Nicholls presents a balance attack ala Central Arkansas a couple of years ago and a good defense at home.

NDSU Bracket:
Elon @ Wofford : Always a Wofford believer. Elon isn't a perennial anything and has played some outstanding games this season. Cinderalla loses her slipper. Pumpkin

Towson @ Dusquene: Going against type on this one. Towson

Delaware @ James Madison: Honestly, this is a coin flip. This isn't JMU from 2 years ago and not sure it matters how dissed their coach feels. Respect is earned. Sorry Bluehens, a two games skid and backing into the playoff's ain't getting it done

Incarnate Word @ Montana St: Go Cat's.
 
EWU Bracket:

SEMo - Could be close.
Jax State - I hope ETSU shows well.
UNI - The Panthers are no easy win.
Nicholls State - San Diego winning in Louisiana won't be easy.

NDSU Bracket:

Montana State - Its gonna be sold out in Bozeman. Big Sky All Day!
JMU - Delaware shouldn't be here. Indiana State, Monmouth or Eastern Kentucky should be playing.
Towson - The Tigers should win.
Elon @ Wofford - This one should be good & some might argue Elon shouldn't be here so...... Wofford!
 
Here's my 1st rd bets to which I expect to lose all of them;

SE Missouri +6
Delaware +17
MSU -7.5
Lamar +26.5
ETSU +16.5
 
The Little Sisters of the Poor get penalized for intentional grounding from their own end zone. Result=Safety. Cats lead 9-7.

Never seen that one before.

SEMO with ball and 2 min up 28-14. Pretty athletic defensive backfield..
 
Vaunted CAA is about to have 4 teams out. Towson getting rolled by Dusquene, Stony losing @ SEMO, Elon lost to Wofford and likely Delaware will lose to JMU. Nice work committee.
 
I think it's fair to say prognostications of Colonial dominance were grossly overstated.

Duquesne blows out Towson. Unreal. Only JMU gets a win, and it was lackluster over another Colonial team.

Hard to say what to make out of the Southland teams. Montana State gets a win. UNI wins a squeaker at home over Lamar. Nicholls State wins much closer than the game felt.
