Women Beat (Previously) Undefeated St. Mary's

Great effort again by the Hornets, congrats ladies and coaches. A couple of injuries, some foul outs, down to 6 players at the end and they still hung tough and beat the previously 7-0 St. Mary's, amazing! Now 5-1 on the season!

Keep it going Saturday vs Jaime Craighead and San Jose State!

Another great win against a very good SMC team of the West Coast Conf. that has only lost to our Sac State Hornets 2 times in 18 match ups all time. Saint Mary's is a very good basketball school.

5-1 Hornets currently hold the best record among Big Sky teams.

Saturday against San Jose State should be a really fun game to watch.

Go Hornets!!!

Got the Chronicle this morning. Headline on page D3" Sac State Women Beats St. Mary's"

:thumb:

Excellent Lady Hornets!

And another win!!!!

Just Over against San Jose State and our former coach.

These Hornets never give up and fight from start to finish.

Glad to see the support at Hornet Gym and looking to see it grow and grow!!

6-1.

Wow, so proud of this team.

Love to see Sac State becoming a women's basketball school. They must average over 90 points a game. That is exciting basketball to watch.

Keep it up Hornets next Sat. against Irvine.

And perhaps our marketing director can visit the music dept. and see what he can do about getting a pep band out to the game. And if that is not possible sure there are many high school bands who would come to the Hornet Gym and support our Hornets!! This is very basic, walk across the campus and reach out kind of stuff. I did it back in the day and I was just a student and the band came.

So now that is

2 wins against the Mountain West
1 win against the West Coast Conference
1 win against the WAC
1 win against the Big West
and
1 win against the Pac 12

Roll on Hornets!!
