POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's basketball team will be hosting the ninth annual crab feed Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the ISU Ball Room located inside the ISU Student Union building. Tickets cost 40 dollars each and must be purchased in advance.
"It's become a really popular, super fun event," Head Coach Seton Sobolewski said.
The evening features an all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab buffet complete with side dishes and beverages in addition to a silent auction. Although the auction items have yet to be decided, there will be something for everyone to bid on.
"We usually have a lot of different great baskets, awesome sports memorabilia; last year we had autographed Dirk Nowitzki shoes as one of the highlights," Sobolewski said. "We try to have a wide range of silent auction items so that there is something for everyone to bid on, not just high-end items or low-end items. It's all across the board."
All proceeds from the event benefit the women's basketball program.
"[Proceeds] go directly to our booster club and help to supplement our budgets and improve our student-athletes' playing experience," Sobolewski said.
Only 500 tickets are available for purchase, so to ensure your spot at the ninth annual crab feed make sure to purchase your tickets early!
