POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State women's basketball team will be hosting the ninth annual crab feed Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the ISU Ball Room located inside the ISU Student Union building. Tickets cost 40 dollars each and must be purchased in advance.

"It's become a really popular, super fun event," Head Coach Seton Sobolewski said.

The evening features an all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab buffet complete with side dishes and beverages in addition to a silent auction. Although the auction items have yet to be decided, there will be something for everyone to bid on.

"We usually have a lot of different great baskets, awesome sports memorabilia; last year we had autographed Dirk Nowitzki shoes as one of the highlights," Sobolewski said. "We try to have a wide range of silent auction items so that there is something for everyone to bid on, not just high-end items or low-end items. It's all across the board."

All proceeds from the event benefit the women's basketball program.

"[Proceeds] go directly to our booster club and help to supplement our budgets and improve our student-athletes' playing experience," Sobolewski said.

Only 500 tickets are available for purchase, so to ensure your spot at the ninth annual crab feed make sure to purchase your tickets early! For more information, please click here to download the information form or contact women's basketball assistant coach Ryan Johnson at [email protected] or (208) 479-0124.

Thanks to everyone for attending the Crab Feed last night. Placed was packed! Also thanks to all the local and area businesses who provided silent auction items.

The coaches, staff and players all appreciate the help! The money raised absolutely helps the program.

Now it's on to basketball Saturday 2PM Reed Gym.
