Hornets are off to a 2-0 start after knocking off two Big West teams...Northridge and San Diego State. School record for 3 pointers on Friday with 17 made and today that record was broken with 18 three pointers made.

Congrats to the Hornets and their new coach. Watched the game an this team is fun to watch. Tons of energy in hornet Gym today!! Good to see.

Um...San Diego State welched on the Big West deal at the same time they pulled out of the Big East. They are still in the MWC.

However, that only adds to how impressive this Hornet start is. Without UOP, the Big West doesn't have much other than Hawai'i and perennial powerhouse UCSB. The MWC is MUCH tougher. That alone should help Sac's RPI with the win....
 
Yep. SDSU is not in the Big West. Thought about that after posting. Indeed they were in the Big West for a hot minute ........gotta stay on my game with all the schools who have changed conferences.
