• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Women's Basketball

Webcaster:

Well this group of young women and this coaching staff are doing some remarkable things. Things that either haven't happened in the program in a long time or never have happened.

To wit:

One more win this year and the Bengals will have averaged 20 wins for the past three seasons in a row. That's never happened before...do you know how hard it is to get to 20 wins once? Let alone average it over three years???

The Bengals are now 45-9 in home games the past four seasons. That's an .833 win percentage.

Kayla and Ash have been a part of 74 wins, that's the most ever by a basketball player in school history who only participated for four years. (Pickering holds the overall record of 88 wins but she was a part of teams for five seasons.)

Next season is going to be the start of a new chapter in program history, five remarkable young women are going to be gone. Six newcomers are going to get their first taste of what it's like to be a part of the D-1 basketball experience. I hope the support, interest and conversation will remain high next season for this sport.

But before we get ahead of ourselves there is still the last of this season to go!
